While digging around in my old photos, I came across photos of the first prototype of the scoreboard from 2006. It used a 16×20 frame, and we experimented with different finishes for the front.
- Drilling holes in acrylic for the LEDs
- We spray painted the back white. This turned out to be a mistake.
- Building our circuit from the sketched design.
- Putting the LEDs in and gluing them down.
- From the front.
- Wiring in the switches.
- Attaching the LEDs, putting in all the circuitry.
- Almost everything is together now.
- With a battery, buzzer, and now the remote control receiver, pulled from a wireless doorbell.
- It works! The scoreboard and two remotes.
